The Bottle Shop is the bar where everybody knows your name, or at least the names of most people in the room.
Whilst most punters sink pints around the curved wooden bar, the cocktails prove disarmingly good as DJs spin a mix of indie, rock and electro to a knowing crowd of locals.
It’s one of the only places in Paris you will find Sunday brunch that hasn’t been Franco-filed. Be it a breakfast burrito, full English fry-up or something as simple as a smoked salmon bagel, here you can even order a side of beans on toast.
Impress fellow hipsters: The Bottle Shop is part of the Cheap Blonde family, which claim ownership of neighbouring Red House, as well as Stolly’s and Lizard Lounge in the Marais.
