Beers: Pop In 75011

The Pop In is part bar, part record label, part live music venue, tucked inside a small labyrinthine Haussmannian shack on Rue Amelot.

Though frequently described as a rock bar, everything from electro to ska to punk and folk can be found on the stereo at any given time. Independent bands play from Monday – Thursday after 9pm, DJs spin Friday/Saturday and open mic takes over Sundays.

Open everyday until 1.30am its a good spot to know should you feel like late night beer. Their house blonde is only €5.70 per pint and it is one of the rare establishments to offers pitchers, or jugs of beers as us Anglophones know them.

Impress fellow hipsters: The bar celebrates its 15th anniversary in May 2013. From time to time they hold vintage markets during the day on Sunday.
