KB Café Shop – or Kooka Bourra as it is oft referred to – is one of a handful of cafés in Paris capable of a real cafe latte.
The light filled space at the top of Rue des Martyrs is perennially packed with expats, laptops and people wearing vans, discussing the single origins of their coffee.
On the menu is smoothies, juices, cakes, muffins, muesli. Thoughtful anglo fare that feels decidedly Australian. The coffee menu incorporates everything from a café latte to cold drip to standard filter coffee.
Impress fellow hipsters: French owner Nicolas Piégay fell in love with US-style coffee shops, but learnt the craft of coffee in Australia. Roasting company Café Lomi supply the beans.
