This sprawling bar restaurant is filled with good looking serveurs wearing Carhartt beanies and plaid shirts.
The menu is decidedly French bistro – burgers play a key role – but the drinks list is considered, concise and impressive. Think bourbon sours, a rum old fashion and other old man drinks to put hair on your chest.
For a drink the terrasse is great in summer, though it is cordoned off for diners after 8.30pm. But the inside bar and low slung lounge tables are more than adequate to finish off drinks.
Prices are cheap. Pints are €6.50, wines little more than €4 and even the cocktails sit below the €10 mark. A bon addresse for many reasons.
Impress fellow hipsters: cocktails can be had for a fiver on happy hour between 6 and 8pm.
