Spritz: Epicerie Musicale 75010

Epicerie Musicale is the best place in Paris to indulge in all kinds of formaggio and salumi.

The Italian deli cum bar cum restaurant pumps out caffe in the mornings, alongside croque monsieurs fashioned with fontina and jambon.

Panini and piadina preside over the lunch menu, alongside simple salads and carpaccio. When the night falls it is the perfect spot for an early aperitivo or Prosecco, or on Thursday nights only, a Spritz.

All their above-average cheeses and meats are available for takeaway, as is olive oil, pasta, Italian wine, various fish products, beers and all kinds of condiments.

Your best bet is to takeover the large communal table with a group of friends and get stuck into their inexpensive wine list. Or go early on a Summers night to kick off with a Spritz before wandering the Canal.

Impress fellow hipsters: Spritz – Campari or Aperol – are served every Thursday from 6-9pm for €5.
